TRANQUIL ACRES BLOODHOUNDS [ABOUT US. PUPPIES FROM PREVIOUS LITTERS & IN THEIR NEW HOMES]
We strive to raise happy, healthy bloodhounds. OUR ONLY BREED. Our dogs health and quality of life is far more important than any financial gain. We have been raising bloodhounds for several years here on our family farm on Flat Creek in the Ozark Hills of SW Mo. I am retired and devote hours to the dogs, playing, working & just hanging out. We entered one of our liver & tans Flat Creek Princess Aspen in an AKC Dog Show last fall year. She has won 2 Majors w/ 1 Best of Breed and should finish her Championship this spring.. We also hope to work more on search & rescue training this year........
We started our bloodhound family with dogs we purchased from a couple who had raised them for 20 years. Joyce had MS and could no longer care for them . Joyce & Paul Rooks were well known for their not only beautiful, but quality bloodhounds. I felt very honored that she picked us to adopt her bloodhounds and give them a loving, pampered home.I owe them so much for all their tutoring in that first year............

My daughter and her family had Flat Creek Bloodhounds. She no longer breeds them but enjoys her bloodhounds as family pets. We adore our bloodhounds and each and every one have found a special place in our hearts...You do not own bloodhounds, they own you in a very rewarding way..............................................
